Cellphone lots at airports are a great idea (Via Engadget) However, I expect many airports won't do this for fear of impacting those exorbitant parking fees.
In places where the airport won't provide this type of lot, I expect that someone will come up with the idea to provide this type of lot. The catch will be to build some kind of drive through (coffee, donuts, ???) at the entrance. Make your purchase and then pull into the waiting area.
